My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'd like to present to you Cherry, a Doberman mix. She is aged 1 year and 2 months . She hails from a southern Indiana shelter and has been enjoying Illinois hospitality for the past few months. She has long legs, an athletic build and an easy-to-clean shiny coat. She's a healthy gal of 53lbs. She enjoys going on long walks or runs, car rides, and socializing with other dogs and people. She has too much fun chasing cats and so would do better if they were not in her company. Cherry is very playful, and would like to have a companion of similar size. She is goofy and affectionate with her inner circle. If she should meet an unfamiliar person, she will initially display guarded behavior, but quickly warms up when nothing goes awry. If the household has children, they should be no younger than age 13. She is housebroken and crate trained. She knows a few commands, such as sit, paw, down, wait, and come. Although she sleeps in a crate, she would prefer to be near you. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. If you are seeking an energetic companion and would like an introduction, please contact her host, Teresa @ 630-815-1440. The adoption fee is 200.00.
