Elmo and Chico must be adopted together - no exceptions, so please do not ask them to be separated. Elmo is ten and Chico is four. They are inseparable. Chico cannot sleep without his brother being nearby, and licks and cleans Elmo. They are both affectionate, loving and an absolute joy. Chico is the forever puppy. He loves to play with other dogs, regardless of their size. He gets very excited and will play-mouth, but he is just playing so no need to worry. Elmo is the more sedate of the pair. He's a very quiet dog. He loves to rub his face all over you and the pillows when he’s first put on the couch or bed with you. Then he happily settles down with the biggest smile on his face. Elmo has Pigmentary Keratitis, an inflammation of the cornea, known as PK, which is characterized by the spread of dark pigmentation (color) across the surface of the eye. Without treatment, he will go blind. This condition is being treated with drops twice a day in his eyes. The medication will run about $40 a month, but it must be done. He also needs to go out lots of times per day and night, so please be ready to accommodate =) Do you have extra love in your heart for these two wonderful brothers?
