I am good with kids and good with cats.

Honeyboy's Story...
HONEYBOY was found scared and alone in a strange neighborhood where someone had dumped him this week. He is about 5 or 6 weeks old. He has been rescued, socialized and taken care of by Glenda who has six cats of her own. She would love to find a kind person who would give this little guy a good home. The kitten has been dewormed and treated for fleas. You can call Glenda directly at 704-881-3240 to make arrangements to meet and adopt this sweet little kitten. She is located in Statesville, NC. There is no adoption fee, but a very small donation to our not-for-profit charity would be appreciated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honeyboy, a Harmony Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Harmony, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Harmony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harmony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harmony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harmony paves the way for another one to be saved.
