Snoopy's Story...
Snoopy is an approximately 3 year old Saint Bernard / Irish Wolfhound cross that we rescued from a local shelter. He's a very sweet and sensitive boy that needs a family to love and help continue his training. He does well with all other dogs and is very submissive with them. We suspect that he may do well with cats, but he has not been tested. He is good with kids of all ages as well. He can easily get spooked by loud noises, so a calm environment would be best for him. He can be a "dumpster diver", so trash cans need to be well secured or he will dump them out to see if there's anything tasty to be had. He also needs doggy door or open door access to go outside to do his business because he's not yet reliable in telling you when he needs to go. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to get and give love to you. If you would be interested in adopting Snoopy, please fill out and submit our online adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snoopy, a Bellflower St. Bernard/Irish Wolfhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Irish Wolfhound for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard/Irish Wolfhound dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with St. Bernard/Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
