Sharla is Sponsored by: Dee Reynolds and So Cal Bengal Rescue

SNAP Cats rescued Sharla from Fremont, CA. Although Sharla is not officially available (she needs to be spayed), we’re taking applications for this cutie. Despite her mobility issues, she gets around just fine and gives Ernie a run for his money! Sharla is currently receiving daily massage treatments and hydrotherapy every-other day. Her prognosis for using her hind legs is slim, but we want to build the muscles up as much as possible so that she may be able to use them to jump and climb. Here's a video of her playing:

If you’re interested in Sharla please let us know, and we’ll forward you an adoption application. You can also download an application from our “Our Cats” webpage. Sharla will be spayed, up to date on her vaccines, dewormed and microchipped at the time of her adoption. She will also come with a set of SNAP Wraps dipes and accessories because she’s a stylin’ kitten!

About SNAP Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal shelters, cat rescues and sanctuaries in Sonoma County (and the U.S.) are full. Innocent cats are being killed due to lack of space and/or funds. The first cats to be killed are special needs, elderly and feral cats, or cats who aren’t deemed “adoptable.” That’s unacceptable.

SNAP Cats is the only rescue & sanctuary in Sonoma County dedicated to special needs cats. SNAP Cats' specific focus is rescuing these cats, housing them, then finding them loving homes. We believe, if given a few more days or weeks or months, an older or special needs or feral cat can find the home that they deserve.

Therefore all cats at SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who cannot or are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment, free from judgment or harm.

Our Adoption Process...

Fees vary per cat. All prospective adopters must fill out an adoption form, then meet with an adoption councilor.
