SNAP Cats rescued Skye from Los Angeles, CA. Skye is an awesome kitty! Very affectionate, he follows you around for attention, and is always in need of a chin or belly rub. Sky has moderate+ cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) but gets around just fine and uses the litter box well. Maybe a little poopy butt now and then, but he’s so cute you can’t hold it against him. Skye’s at our Santa Rosa facility, so if you’d like to come out and see him just let us know! Thanks.

About SNAP Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal shelters, cat rescues and sanctuaries in Sonoma County (and the U.S.) are full. Innocent cats are being killed due to lack of space and/or funds. The first cats to be killed are special needs, elderly and feral cats, or cats who aren’t deemed “adoptable.” That’s unacceptable.

SNAP Cats is the only rescue & sanctuary in Sonoma County dedicated to special needs cats. SNAP Cats' specific focus is rescuing these cats, housing them, then finding them loving homes. We believe, if given a few more days or weeks or months, an older or special needs or feral cat can find the home that they deserve.

Therefore all cats at SNAP Cats, regardless of health, age or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. Those who cannot or are not adopted, due to age, illness or temperament, are able to live out the remainder of their natural lives in a peaceful, healthy, serene environment, free from judgment or harm.

Come Meet Our Pets...

SNAP Cats is open by appointment only. Please email or call to set up a day and time to come see our kittens and cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee is a donation in an amount that the adopter feels is appropriate. All prospective adopters must fill out an adoption application, then meet with an adoption councilor. For local adoptions we perform a home inspection.
