ROSE's Story...
Meet Rose! She is a precious 10 month old, 15 pound baby girl with the shiniest black coat and beautiful amber eyes. She thought she had her forever home but she was brought to the shelter on 06/11 because her family could no longer care for her. She thought she had been the very best girl she could be. She sits, stays, lays down and rolls over when told and is leash trained. The family said she is good with kids and house trained. Cannot ask for more than that. Rose is already spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. She will be tested for heart worms when adopted. You will find Rose in cage 317 and her ID# is 586203.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROSE, a Marietta Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
