Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Guy was rescued from Animal care and control where he was listed as a stray. With the lack of space, especially now, combined with the hundreds of new animals arriving daily at the shelters, the fact that Guy extended his stay beyond a full month at Animlal control is something just short of a miracle! However, the gift of more time did not help Guy get adopted, so it was finally time for his space to be freed up to give someone else a chance. Fortunately, RESCUE was there when Guy needed someone most, providing yet another chance at a happy life.
When you look at Guy's "before" picture and compare it to the dog you see today, it's hard to believe he is the same pup!! His coat was very badly matted and urine stained, but despite his appearance, the one thing that remained the same is the sparkle of life in Guy's eyes. Guy exudes happiness and has proven to be a very smart boy! Handsome AND smart you say? Yes sir! But in addition to that, he is also one of the sweetest little dogs you will ever meet! Not only is he wonderful with people, but he is quite social with other dogs as well. It might take him a moment with the larger dogs, but once he knows they mean no harm, he is eager to engage.
We have no idea what Guy's past was like, and can only guess by his appearance when he came into our lives, but like his matted coat that was shed, he seemingly has done the same with any negative experiences he may have endured. Guy is all about the here and now, and is ready to start the rest of his life with a wonderful family.
