Please note that since TAGS is a smaller volunteer program, we are limited to adoptions within the Durham Region area. We encourage those applicants who apply outside of the area to check your local shelters and rescue programs. We are always happy to refer you to a program in your area.
True to her name, this gorgeous gal is the colour of golden brandy. At 69 pounds, she’s the kind of doggy darling you can wrap both arms around! Happily active and energetic, Brandy thrives on three walks a day paired with lengthy lopes round her family’s fenced yard. Obedience trained, this bright beauty knows sit, stay, wait, come, gentle and down, and enjoys car rides once she’s settled. Because she’s both house and crate trained, she has free rein of the house during the day, and either sleeps on the floor of the master bedroom or inside her opened crate at night. Being surrendered to us because of her family’s move to a residence where pets aren’t allowed, Brandy will do best in a home without children or other dogs, but with loving people to pamper and pet her forever.
