Hi, I'm Jing Li. My name means 'beautiful surprise,' but it probably should mean a 'lovable mess!' Yep, that was me, a lovable mess. I am a senior girl (somewhere between 12-14 years old; vets can't agree because of my health issues) and I weigh just under 9lbs, and like all seniors, I have some 'senior' health issues. You see my former owners didn't take care of me. Now, I don't want to discourage you from adopting me...because I am ADOPTABLE and I so very badly want my own forever home. I have a lot of life and love to give to my adopters. But I want you to know about me and what I've gone through. First, I had the worst case of fleas ever with raw, itchy spots--so much better now. Then, I had really bad teeth and a very painful mouth. But I had several teeth pulled and I had my teeth cleaned--wow, so much better. I had a fatty tumor removed (benign, yay!) I have a slight heart murmur (a lot of dogs do and are fine). I still have cataracts, a 'slipping knee'( lots of small dogs do). And I have arthritis, but I have pain meds and anti-inflammatory drugs I take that make me feel so much better (all senior people understand--you can give me my medicine and I am good to go) BUT I am heart-worm negative!!!! Now that is great news! I am also house-trained, and I don't bark much at all. I would do best in a home without small children due to my size and age. And if you have other pets, can they be like me--a little bit more low-energy? I'm not crate-trained though because I would rather be with you and I don't like the crate very much. But my foster mom says I am a great little girl and she will find me a loving home. And you know what? I am a great, grateful, loving, little girl who just wants a forever home where I can be the spoiled princess I was meant to be. Will you be my home?
