My name is Duckie. I’m six years old and looking for my forever family. On a day to day basis, I am pretty mellow and love to follow the people in my house from room to room. I’m what my foster mom calls a “constant” companion. Where you are, I want to be. You will never be lonely with me.
I ride great in the car and would love to go on errands with you. I can get in and out of the car by myself and sit in my “assigned seat” and gaze out the window at all the fun stuff that goes by.
I walk close to a mile a day and I don’t pull on the leash. My current walker is 80 yrs old (she needs the exercise, I’m just helping out!) so I fit the walking style of most families. My family is getting me up to 1.5 miles a day.
I get along with other dogs. My favorite dog companions are ones that don’t bounce on me and surprise me. Puppies are probably not a good match with me. Sorry! I really like other dogs that want to cuddle and just “be” on a dog bed.
My favorite toys are ones that are stuffed. Oh, and the elk antlers are not bad either!
