TaoLynn...my name is wonderful...it makes me calm. The ying and yang, calmness and peace, all emanate from me. Well, at least my name. Tao is “the way” and nature of the universe and Lynn means “the lake. All very peaceful stuff. So, this is my new mantra. Do you believe a good-looking girl like me was found as a stray? Well, I am in a great place now and I know my new “aura” will attract a home where I will be loved and cherished. I am a little, white/cream-colored, fluff of a dog. I don’t like labels, but I may be a Yorkshire/Maltese mix. It’s really hard to tell right now, because I was matted and had to be shaved down. But I do know I am a senior girl at about 10-12-years old (one vet says 10, and one says 12), and I am small at about 13lb. I wear my years as well as my “imperfections” very well. Probably due to my age, I have a heart murmur for which I take medication twice a day. I also lost one of my eyes awhile back, and my good eye is developing that cloudiness that comes with age, but I only have difficulty with my night vision. And I do have some dental issues...obviously my teeth were not brushed, but the Angels will take care of it. I am crate trained, and my foster mom is working with on house training. I believe being on my own for awhile affected my house manners a little, but more mature dogs do learn. And even though I am a senior, I like everyone I meet, adults, children, other dogs; not sure about cats, but they will probably be okay if they don’t mind a small, well-behaved older girl. I am pretty calm as you would guess from my name and age, but I do pull a little when I am on-leash...I just need a little more practice. So, after reading all this...what do you think? Do you have a place for a senior girl? I won’t take up much room and I will provide lots of love and companionship. Go ahead and fill out an adoption application and come meet me. Even if you have to wait just a little while I get into tip-top shape (my dental), it will be worth it!
