People often wonder what my name means – I am named after Hermione’s cat in the Harry Potter book series.  He was extremely intelligent because he was half-cat and half-magical being.  My foster mom isn’t quite sure WHAT magical being I’m half of but whatever it was it’s clear it was gorgeous, funny and insanely smart because I am all those things and more.  While it’s hard to tell from my photos, I am a HUGE cat.  More like a pony than a cat, really. Oh, oh, oh – half-cat, half-magical being, half-pony!  And half-mathematician… hahahaha!

I have a HUGE personality to go along with my huge body.  I am talkative, smart, playful and mischievous.  I love to give little kitty kisses and hope you don’t mind tuna breath.  I will sit in your lap, talk to you while you’re in the shower and be your most loyal friend if you’ll just adopt me.

I am special needs. I am FIV+ which means my immune system isn't as strong as FIV- cats and I may have a harder time fighting off infections. FIV is manageable and I will live a long, healthy life (often JUST as long and healthy as my FIV- counterparts) and the Angels have LOTS of helpful information so please don't let that discourage you from adopting me! Don't hate me because I have FIV - hate me because I'm a handsome devil!

And of course you know already that I only have one eye... it doesn't bother me at all – it just makes me a shoe-in for the next school production of Pirates of the Caribbean. Arrrrragh! Also, your friends will think it's really cool that you have a one-eyed cat. Don't ask me why because I don't always understand the ways of humans, but every time anyone meets me they go “awwwwwwwwwwwww” and then they go “squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” and then I get a hug and lots of pets. I think this one-eyed thing MIGHT land me a girlfriend!

My adoption fee includes combo test, vaccinations (FVRCP, FeLV, rabies), spay/neuter, microchip, flea prevention and de-worming! That means I'll be fully vetted, which will save you lots of money. About Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Georgia. We operate through a network of foster homes in the metro Atlanta area.

Our efforts are funded by tax-deductible contributions from compassionate people and organizations who care and want to help make a difference... one pet at a time.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email inquiry@angelsrescue.org if you are interested in a specific dog.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org.
Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
