Gisella is a very special kitty and she hopes that you’ll take to the time to read her bio and understand why. We believe that Gisella once had a home as she LOVES chin scratches and likes to be near her human. Unfortunately, she lost that home at some point and had to fend for herself on the streets. During that time she lost a leg (she is affectionately referred to as a tripod) probably through an altercation or injury, but that doesn’t stop her from getting where she wants to go even if she is a bit wobbly. When Gisella was finally brought in to animal control she had a horrible flea infestation, a mouthful of issues and was severely underweight. After some dental work, nourishment and TLC she is healthy and ready to find her forever home. Gisella likes dogs, but unfortunately is not a fan of other felines which might stem from her time on the streets. She is particular about where the likes to be petted and for how long, and while she will gladly let you hold her she isn’t the right cat for a home with young children. Gisella would be best suited for a low-key home with a patient owner who understands that Gisella has been through a lot in life, and sometimes deserves to be a little sassy. :)
