Hi!! My name is Diamond and I'm a 20lb male Shih Tzu mix. I love treats and my favorite treat is...cucumber (of course)!! I quickly become best friends with other dogs, cats, and humans! I love to sleep on my back in my bed, go for walks, go bye bye in the car, have my hair brushed, and get belly rubs from my humans.
I've been told I have diabetes, and that my perfect human will need to be able to care for me a little extra, but that it's not really hard to do. When I get the proper care, I don't even know I have that diabetes stuff, I just feel like a regular happy little guy!! My foster mom is so proud of me, I am doing awesome!
I have a little trouble seeing and hearing, but really that just means that I won't chase squirrels or cats!! My nose is sharp as a tack, so I adapt quickly to new surroundings and get around just fine. I quickly find my food bowl, and I know exactly where the kitchen is (that's where the cucumbers come from).
My foster humans think I'm especially cute when I get excited and hop around when they enter the room, when I rub my head up against their legs to tell them I love them, and when I fall asleep by their feet.
I would love to find my forever home with the perfect human(s) who believe that " Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well."
If you have some extra love and TLC to give, and want some love, loyalty, and appreciation in return, we might just be a perfect match!

Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in a specific dog.
Our Adoption Process...
The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org. Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
