Hi! my name is Lakke. I am a 3-year old female and I weigh 60-65lb. I think I have some Shepherd in the mix, but I don’t have a long coat like a German Shepherd—so I don’t shed like they do. My foster family tells me I am adorable, and so polite. I sit for my food and at the door to go outside. If I need to go out, I sit and look at you patiently . . . but if you wait too long, I add a soft little woof to remind you that I am still waiting. My foster mom sometimes calls me Lady Lakke because I like to cross my paws and I look so proper and lady-like. And sometimes she calls me Laid-back Lakke because I am so “chill.” I sleep most of the day and bark very little and shed very little. I sure wake up though when it is time to play frisbee or go for a walk or a car ride. I am already house trained and crate trained but my foster mom always leaves the crate door open because I am such a good girl. I walk pretty well on-leash with just a little pulling because it is great to be outside. I am a sweet, submissive girl who loves men, women, children. It would be great to have a fenced yard and some big kids to play with me (I’m unsure about little kids - so probably no small kids) or an adult who likes to go for walks. I should probably be an only dog, but I have been known to get along with some well-balanced dogs. You know those real estate ads where they say, “you have to see the inside!” Well, that’s kind of like me...you need to come and meet me so you can get the full-effect of how great. So, how about filling out an adoption application and coming to meet me?
