Flinna's Story...
Flinna is a beautiful golden retriever/collie mix who weighs 50 pounds and is about one year old. Angels Among Us pulled her from a high kill shelter, so we don't know much about her background. We do know that she is easily frightened, so would do best with a fenced in back yard. Her foster is working with her to develop Flinna's confidence, and her adopter will need to have patience as well. Flinna is a low energy dog that doesn't bark, is housebroken, and loves to spend time in her crate. Flinna gets well along with other dogs, but would do best in a quiet home without cats or small children. Make a donation in this dog's name at http://www.angelsrescue.org/donate. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flinna, a Alpharetta Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
