Chesapeake's Story...
Chesapeake is a 1-year old border collie/ lab mix who is spunky and loving. She loves long walks and can go from being a playful pup to relaxing and asking for belly rubs in a skinny minute. Chesapeake is looking for her forever home with someone who will enjoy taking Chesapeake on walks, letting her romp around and giving her the love that she deserves. She is working on crate training (for periods of more than 4 hours), she plays great with dogs of any size, but has not been tested with cats. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chesapeake, a Alpharetta Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
