Abigail's Story...
**Abigail is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $350, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is fully vetted.**

Abigail and her sister were strays that ended up at the county pound. Her sister was adopted and she was all alone and nearing her euthanasia time. We saw this beauty online and knew we couldn’t let that happen! It’s never easy to take just one so we rescued a few other kitties while we were there.

Abigail gets along well with other cats and dogs. She is very playful but also a snuggle bug, both with her fursiblings and her foster family. She is a stunning solid white kitty with beautiful green eyes and is approximately 8 weeks old as of June 10, 2016.

**Abigail is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative, Dewormed and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information. Her out of state adoption fee is $350 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abigail, a Gorham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gorham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Gorham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gorham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gorham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gorham paves the way for another one to be saved.
