Ruben's Story...
Hey guys! I am Ruben- the cutest and most laid back Bagel (Beagle Basset mix) you will ever find. I was a last minute rescue and am so very grateful. Us older boys deserve a great home too. I am 18 pounds, potty and crate trained and am 9 years old. Don't let the number fool you though- I still have plenty of pep in my step. My foster mom says I am perfectly mature yet still playful and loving. I love belly rubs and since I am a beagle mix- you know I love food. I like toys and other dogs too. My personality works well with almost anyone. I have a small medical issue which is being treated so I won't be available right away. But you can still come meet me- I would love it! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruben, a Alpharetta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
