Haddie's Story...
Haddie is a 40 pound, one year old, black lab/border collie mix beauty. True to her roots, she is quite smart. She loves other dogs and is playful, so will do great with another dog. She does well with cats, and is gentle with small children. We are still working on crate training, but she is fine if she is crated for a few hours at a time. She was obviously someone's pet in her earlier life - healthy, no sign of abuse or neglect. She sleeps through the night with her foster and her fursiblings at the bottom of the human bed. She is absolutely wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any home. Make a donation in this dog's name at http://www.angelsrescue.org/donate. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haddie, a Alpharetta Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
