You're making a mistake if you just pass over this baby girl! Hey everyone my name is MeMe. I am such a great...wait a sec, Fommy says to move over and let her do the typing… Hey ya'll, I’m Meme's foster and I know a lot of times you hear from these wonderful pups directly but I feel that with this extraordinary dog, it was gonna take a human with thumbs and typing skills to really describe to you how greats she is. This wonderful soul was made an angel because an awesome volunteer went to go pull another dog from the shelter and Meme was the one they brought in to test how the other dog would react being around dogs. Our volunteer saw she was bleeding and so timid so she said heck no! We are getting this baby outta here too! When Meme came to me...she had a severe case of pneumonia, a crazy bad ear infection and a weird spay that was making her bleed. This beautiful dog was not only in a hard, cold shelter, but was also being dragged into rooms to see how other dogs that were trying to be saved would react to her. She was so quiet that you really would just pass over her. When this pup first got to my house, she was so lethargic and just wanted a place to heal. She didn’t like her crate at first, but now will go in willingly to sleep, hang out and eat. Meme hasn't known a home, a comfy bed or any of the comforts we take advantage of. And through all of our time together, I have heard her bark twice??? Seriously...the quietest dog you will ever meet. She is a dream girl. About 2-3 years old, already spayed, and at 60 lbs. she will need a person who knows dogs and isn't timid, a true pack leader. She will need a crate for a while as well, but she is great on a leash and completely house broken. She would be great for someone who likes to run and/or hike or even teach her agility! She needs rules and guidance, don't we all? She has never met a stranger in a person but needs to be an only dog until she gets used to the fact that her past life is behind her. No cats or young children. She doesn’t realize how big she is. Please give Meme a chance if you are looking for a great companion. She really is amazing. Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email email@example.com if you are interested in a specific dog.
Our Adoption Process...
The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org. Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
