Buzzy's Story...
Update! Buzzy has been getting basic training and lots of socialization with other dogs at weekly classes. She is housetrained! She would be totally happy to curl up on her dog bed at the end of the day, she just loves her blankets at the shelter. She needs to go HOOOOMMMMMMEEEEE! This girl is one of the cutest we've seen, a solid bullet-body of wiggles and pep. Her pictures don't come close to doing her justice. Energetic but capable of calm, this girl will keep you entertained for her lifetime.

Act quickly to adopt Buzzy. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buzzy, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
