Whinny's Story...
Hi, My name is Whinny (pronounced Winnie) the wiener dog. I am about 1 1/2 years old and weigh 12-13 lbs. Have been spayed and had all my shots (ouch ouch). I am crate trained and potty pad trained although sometimes my back end can be a little off center from the pad. If I can go outside several times a day you can consider me house trained. I have lots of fun playing with other dogs and would like to have a fenced yard so we can run and play and I would probably loose 1-2 lbs. I love love love kids and like to play tug with my rope bone. I have not met this thing they call cats so I am not sure about what they are. It would be great if I could have a stay at home Mom or Dad who works from home. Thank you for taking the time to read about me so please fill out an application and we can meet soon. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whinny, a Alpharetta Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
