Johnny's Story...
Johnny and Ryan, Ryan and Johnny...not only are these boys two peas in a pod and best buddies, but they are brothers too. Johnny has a striped orange coat and Ryan has a swirly pattern in his orange coat with white tips on his paws. Both boys are enthusiastic eaters. They have to be to fuel their activities...

Johnny and Ryan love to be pet and will in fact lean into your pet so much that they just about end up lying on the floor! Full body pets, head scratches, chin scratches, ear rubs - all are good with these two! Both love affection and Johnny especially will seek you out for some petting. Pick either of them up and plop them into your lap and they will be happy to stay awhile as long as they get lots of petting and love! Johnny and Ryan don't mind being held and kissed for a little bit either, but then it is off to play, play, play again!

The boys not only play well together but they seem to get along with other kitties as well. Feather wands, swizzle wands, and balls are among their favorite toys - chasing each other is pretty fun for them too! It's fun to play swizzle wand with the two of them - the swizzle wand is so long that they can play with different ends of it at the same time. If that doesn't work out, I've witnessed one of them playing with the swizzle wand while the other plays with the other cat's tail! They are fun to watch and always bring a smile to your face!

If you're looking for some sweet, affectionate, playful, easygoing kitties check out Johnny and Ryan. They will brighten up your day with their funny antics and endearing personalities.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnny, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
