ATHENA is looking for her husky savvy forever home!
Her former family sadly had to give her up because of difficult circumstances.
Athena is a beautiful, active 16 month young full of joyful, happy energy. She has lovely soulful eyes, right blue eye and a left brown eye. She's so intuitive and smart!
She loves to run and play in the yard and she walks nicely on her leash and takes corrections really well. She knows how to sit and we are working on other fun commands. She loves to learn.
Athena loves every human she meets and would be a perfect husky dog companion for a family with teens or younger kids too (with parent supervision of course), and an active mom or dad or who loves to run and or jog... Athena is very social, and friendly with all.
Athena likes to play with toys and loves to run after a tennis ball when it's thrown. She is really interested in lizards and butterflies! She doesn't react when big or little dogs bark at her while on walks but depending on the other dogs actions she might be super playful and jump up like every other husky and bark or talk or sing her woowoo. Athena would do well in a home with another dog that's okay with her playful pup stage.
Athena is spayed, UTD with shots, micro chipped and licensed in Oxnard, CA
