The Helotes Humane Society is a non profit organization dedicated to placing unwanted animals in loving homes. Remember, don't shop, adopt!

Give this tiny rescue a big future.

Toby was found at age two weeks and placed in foster care with the Helotes Humane Society where he is being bottle fed. He is male with a short coat of red mackerel tabby fur. His eyes are still baby blue but will be gold or green when he is mature. Right now those eyes are closed as this little guy still sleeps a lot. When he's awake he is in non-stop play with a litter of 4 older fosters. Toby holds his own with the bigger kittens because he has lots of energy and stamina and a keen desire to join in every activity. Toby is available for adoption now but will remain in foster care until he is fixed in early August. If you have summer plans and need to wait until school starts to add a kitten to your family, this little love-bug may be the purr-fect pet for you. Get to know Toby at a 'Meet and Greet' with his foster mom and add Toby to you family when he's 9-10 weeks old. For more information about Toby contact Meagan at 210 870-9524 or 210 688-9805.

All of our animals receive vaccinations, testing and altering appropriate for their age. All pets will be microchipped prior to placement. The pet overpopulation problem has reached a crisis stage. We will use all of our resources to spay and neuter all pets in our care.
