A tabby kitten rescued from Walmart

Helotes Animal Control picked up two kittens at Walmart and brought them to the Helotes Humane Society. We think they may be from the same litter and were dumped in the parking lot. Today they are in foster care where they are safe, well fed, and showered with love and affection.

Wally is a beautifully marked brown/gray mackerel tabby rescued at Walmart in Helotes. But 'he' turned out to be 'she,' so her name was changed to Marty, and her foster mom calls her Mia because she's so sweet and feminine. She has big, round greenish eyes and a purr-fect motor that just won't quit. She looks after her foster siblings and teaches them everything she knows. They romp and play together for hours, then collapse in a sunny spot on the floor. Marty has been spayed and is ready to go to a forever home. For more information and/or to meet 'Marty' call or text her foster 'mom' at 210 870-9524 or call 210-688-9805.

All of our animals receive vaccinations, testing and altering appropriate for their age. All pets will be microchipped prior to placement. The pet overpopulation problem has reached a crisis stage. We will use all of our resources to spay and neuter all pets in our care.
