Beauty's Story...
Beauty is a petite, high energy alpha female Saint that will be 2 years old in October. She had a broken elbow when we rescued her which was surgically repaired, but the vet says she'll have a permanent limp and will need to take anti-inflammatory drugs when she overdoes it. She has also had surgery to her eyelids to correct entropion and is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines. She loves all people, but is choosy about her canine companions that must be submissive to her and enjoy her playing hard with them. She needs a family with prior experience with setting rules with big dogs. She loves to chase birds and rabbits at her foster home, so a home without cats, birds or small pets would be best for her. She is fully housetrained and loves to cuddle. If you would be interested in adopting Beauty, please fill out and submit an on line adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly. Beauty is being fostered in the Reno, NV area where meet and greets will need to take place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beauty, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
