Bandito's Story...
This talkative fella is not shy about telling you how he's feeling! He makes a sound like a "mrr" when he disagrees with something...almost like an old man grumble. If you feed or pet him, this turns into a contented purr. If he's still hungry or short on affection, he'll let you know with some louder "mrrs" again. Once his needs are met, he goes into crazy cat playtime mode, and will regularly crack you up as he bounces off the walls, chasing his favorite toys. He's definitely a one-of-a-kind goofball!
Bandito was born in 2014.

Bandito has tested positive for felv but is not on any medication and has no special needs. Feline Friends will pay for all future vetting for Bandito.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandito, a Chicago Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
