My name is Sam Sam and I am a gorgeous (if I do say so myself!), black Schnauzer boy who is 12 years young and weighs 24 lbs.
I was adopted as a pup by a wonderful owner and have spent many happy years with him. All of that changed a short time ago when he died suddenly. I was lost without my best friend and his kids were not able to keep me with their life situations so they chose to surrender me to Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati.
I am in a foster home now in Cincinnati with four other Schnauzer fur kids and though very depressed the first week or so trying to adjust, I am having a blast here now. First of all, they have doggie doors which I had before and a huge yard for me to play in.
My foster mom took all of my photos with my new, favorite soft squeak toy. I love to go for leash walks and no problem riding in the car, even when she insists we all wear safety belts!
I am great with the grandkids when they visit and know how to share even at meal time with the other dogs here. My new foster mom lets us sleep anywhere we want; my favorite place is with her as it makes me feel secure right now.
When I went to the vet for my checkup and micro chip, she told me I was in great health. I am a very quiet boy and rarely bark. My teeth are as white as can be so I didn't even need a dental!
I would love to have a forever home again and hope that after reading my story, that it could be with you!
My application fee is only $250...thanks, Sam Sam.
