I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.
Hi I'm Xavier You can see that I am a very happy boy. But I was not happy before I was rescued. You see I was rescued from a shelter that euthanized animals if we were there too long. And I didn't want to go without ever having a home of my very own. Now, I am in a foster home (just a temporary place until I meet my furever family!) and I'm a very happy dog. My foster family takes me on walks, and they tell me I am great on my leash. And I am a really good boy inside the house too. I also like to snuggle and I will follow you all over the house just to be with you. And if you let me, I will sit on your lap (I know I'm a little big for that, but the foster family likes it). I'm not hyper and I will do anything to please you. If you offer me a treat, I am well mannered and will take it very gently. And I'm great when company comes to the door; I let you know someone is there, but if you say it's ok, I let them come in. Other than that I'm not a barker at all. My foster mom laughs at me sometimes because my lip gets stuck on my tooth, and it looks like I'm smiling :-) Don't tell her I am. If you will give me a chance, I know you will fall in love and want to be my furever home. I just want a person I can love and who loves me too. I like other dogs, but sometimes I get a little irritated because I don't want to share my human, but I've never had one of my very own before. And it's okay because it means I will be happy with just you and me. Oh, and did I mention I like children? You should get some more information on me cuz I'm a pretty cool Dude. Thanks for looking at me!! AND be sure and fill out an application so I can meet you! Make a donation in this dog's name at http://www.angelsrescue.org/donate. For inquiries, email email@example.com. Come Meet Our Pets...
Our animals are in our network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. Please go to www.facebook.com/angelsrescue/events to see our schedule of adoption events, or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in a specific dog.
Our Adoption Process...
The first step in adopting or meeting any of our dogs is to fill out an adoption application on www.angelsrescue.org. Your application will be assigned to someone in our organization that will review it and contact you to discuss it. Please allow us at least 3 business days to contact you. We require a meet and greet with your current dogs (if applicable) and all family members (if possible) and a home check. Please note: Puppies under 4 months are not currently available for adoption outside the state of Georgia.
