Hi, I'm Lucky Leonard! Do you want to know how I got my name? Well, I was abandoned outside of a housing project and some nice people were feeding me, but they already had a dog and couldn't bring me inside. One day they started to drive away in their car, and I wanted to go with them! I was so lonely and scared! I didn't want to be left again! So I chased after them and ran out into the street. A lady happened to be driving to work, and she stopped and asked the nice people whose car I was chasing if I was anyone's dog. They said I had just shown up a few days ago and that I was the sweetest boy.
So they helped get me in her car and she took me to the vet. Here comes the lucky part! This lady is a foster for Angels Among Us, so now I am her Foster Dog and I have a warm place to sleep, plenty of food, and other dogs to play with! I love all people, and I really love other dogs! I haven't quite decided about the cats yet... they are very sneaky!
I already know how to sit and I'm potty-trained and crate-trained.. although I whine a little when I go in my crate because I don't like to be left alone! I still worry about being abandoned, so I follow my foster mom wherever she goes and cry a little when I can't be with her. I'm just a small guy - about a year old and 40lbs. But if you want to adopt me you can fill our an application at the web address below!
