I had a rough life before coming to resuce, but the nice rescue folks are helping to make me feel better. I came to rescue heartworm positive, so I am being treated for that. I had bloodwork done, which revealed that I need to be on thyroid meds. I have started that too. I also have dry eye and am on meds for that. My legs are very wobbly. Xrays showed that I have arthritis in one hip and bone on bone in my back. I am on Tramadol and Rimadyl as needed for pain. Thankfully, a wonderful donor sent a nice orthopedic bed for me. I am really enjoying resting on that.
Foster mommy says that I am precious and love everyone. I am hoping to find someone looking for a quiet companion who is willing to give a sweet senior a comfortable, furever home where someone is home most of the time.
If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application and ask for Brewer!
