Keanu's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Keanu's Story...
We have a lovely bunch of kittens available for adoption, including Knickers, Kipper, Keanu, Felicity, Folly, and Faith. They are about 10 weeks old so still too young to know what their adult personalities will be, but for now they are typical kittens: active, hungry, playful, hungry, curious, affectionate, happy and did we mention hungry?

** Our policy is to place young kittens in pairs only. They need the companionship of a playmate. These kittens will be adopted in pairs only.**

The adoption fee for a pair of kittens is $150.

All of our kittens have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in meeting any of our kittens, please click the green "Ask About Me" button on this page or email arcf@pdx-petadoption.org. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keanu, a Portland Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Portland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
