Skye's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Skye's Story...
I’ve always been small but mighty! Smart, adventurous, and more confident than cats 5 times my size, I am a sweet, independent girl who always likes to be with her people. Good with children and other cats (never been around dogs but I am very brave!), I have been patiently waiting for my forever home since I born at my foster mom’s house last April in Huntsville, AL. I’m not sure why I don’t have a forever home yet—I must be waiting for just the right person, who is hopefully you! PS Did I mention I am soft and would like to sleep by your feet in bed? I am felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. My adoption fee is now only $25 because I am 6 months old already!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
