Willow's Story...
Hi, I'm Willow and I'm looking for my forever home. Me and my siblings wound up at an Animal Control that doesn't allow public adoptions! The only way dogs and cats can live is if they're lucky enough to be saved by a rescue. Me and my siblings are now safe in a foster home where we have yummy food, lots of toys to play with, and a great foster mom who gives us lots of hugs and kisses. You can call me spider kitty because I'm a really good climber and I'm very quick. I'll be up your leg and on your shoulder before you know it! I'm having a blast playing with my siblings and the other kittens here so I'll definitely need another kitty in my new home because I'm the most active one in my litter! Please email adoptions@gahomelesspets.com for more information about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Smyrna Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
