as chill a cat as you can get

Valentino certainly lives up to his name! Well, mostly!
He is playful, easy going, happy and independent
He adapts well to any situation-- from being a solo kitty to tolerating 4 foster baby kittens running amok all over him.
He is not a lap cat, however, and that has kept him from finding a forever home for awhile now. He is so handsome that you just want to pick him up and hold him, but he thinks he is way too cool for that nonsense. But he will follow you around, purr up a storm and plop down at your feet.  for some folks- that is going to be more than enough! Maybe, that home is yours?

How To Adopt Me!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat

About 13th St. Nac Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption fairs at Petsmart Campbell (CA) almost every Saturday, noon to 4pm; as well as at Petsmart Coleman (San Jose, CA) on one weekend a month.
Check our website for confirmation on dates and times: www.13thstcats.org

Our Adoption Process...

Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliiveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.
