Rusty (and Niko)'s Story...
Rusty (orange) and Niko (black, see picture 3 and separate listing) - are 10-11 week old male siblings. Both are very friendly and quite playful! Rusty and Niko are sociable, enjoy company and being held. Niko is a sleek little boy with an attractive warm and soulful face. Niko can still be a little timid at times but warms up quickly. Rusty is a curious little kitty with a handsome smile and eyes. Both have large motors that keep them purring. They have been around dogs without being phased but have not met any face to face yet. Rusty and Niko enjoy being held when not in play mode. These wonderful kittens are current on their vaccines, have tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and have been dewormed. What a great pair!! Please consider meeting Niko and Rusty!! They will warm your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty (and Niko), a Fairfax Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
