How gorgeous is Zorro? He and his sister were bought from a breeder in Kansas and raised together until they were 6 months old. It is rare that we recommend adopting siblings together. There is a thing called sibling syndrome and it is incredibly hard to train two puppies at the same time. Needless to say, after just 6 months, their owner was done and was ready to bring them to a high kill shelter. Lucky for Zorro, a rescuer sent us their photo and we agreed to bring them into our rescue. Zorro's sister was adopted right away but Zorro is still looking. He is waiting for someone who will believe in him! Zorro has been through an extensive board and train program that has helped his confidence immensely! Zorro's trainer thinks he would benefit from having another stable dog in the house to play with, no kitties though. He has a very sweet, loving disposition. Zorro is an active guy who would do well with an avid hiker or someone with a large fenced yard! He isn't very interested in toys but does play with them every once in a while. Zorro is initially more timid with men than women. If there are men in the house they need to be gentle and patient with him. This guy is housetrained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations & in good health! If you adopt Zorro his trainer helps you with any questions you have, setting you up to succeed.
