Introducing Miss Maggie Mae (Maggie for short!). She is a shepherd cross born February 2016. She is very mellow and loving, and will jump into your lap for her dose of cuddles. She loves to go for walks and especially loves being around other animals. She really likes kids as well, but is still very much a puppy that is learning her manners and how to control her energy - so older kids may be better suited. She walks great on the leash, but does prefer to run free in the back yard. She would probably love dog parks as she is very social and just wants other dogs to run and play with her! Although she has not been around cats, her social nature suggests she would be fine with them (although she would probably try to play!).
In typical puppy fashion, she loves to chew on things - tug of war is a definite favourite game! She would love to get her mouth on other things, but is easily distracted with a toy. Maggie aims to please and is already learning basic commands, like sitting pretty for a treat. She does not even care that the treat is just some of her kibble! Maggie can stay in her crate for long periods without a fuss and her potty training is going well.
