My name is Fabio!

Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Chicago, Illinois - Fabio

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Fabio's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Fabio's Story...
Fabio is a handsome little guy—and he knows it. He likes to go for walks (probably for the opportunity to strut his stuff). Though it may take him a minute or two to warm up, he loves people. He’s a bit more selective about the dogs he lets into his circle, preferring small, calm dogs who let him do his own thing. Sometimes dogs who don’t meet that criteria put him on the defensive, as do strangers and new environments. So he’d do best in a quiet, adult-only home with other small, calm dogs and an owner who’s experienced with his breed.

If you want to experience 10 lbs of pure sweetness, come meet Fabio!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fabio, a Chicago Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
