Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wyatt is a 4 yr old that just came to us with a broken toe and injured hock after a long racing career. He is not small dog or cat tolerant.
Hello, everyone! I broke my toe running as fast as I could, so I had to retire. I went nighty night at the vet clinic, and when I woke up my toe was GONE!! Good grief. There's just kind of a gap where it used to be. It freaked me out a little at first, but my foster mom told me not to worry. She said I can still run and play, and people will love me even with a toe missing. I hope she's right!
FOSTER UPDATE:
Wyatt is doing very well in foster. Wyatt is people oriented and follows us around the house. He's happy just lying on a bed, as long as you're close. Wyatt protested crating, but now that he has his freedom, he doesn't exhibit any whining or barking when we leave. Wyatt is a quiet hound who hasn't figured out toys yet.
Wyatt is living with a variety of medium-to-large dogs with no issues. He doesn't really interact with them, so we think he'd be fine as an only dog. We think he'd be happiest in a home in which someone is home with him most of the time.
