Payton's Story...
**Payton is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $375, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is fully vetted.**

Payton & her 3 siblings were pulled from the local pound where their time was running out. This gorgeous litter of kittens was so full of love and life that we couldn’t leave them behind.
This litter of kittens snuggles together in their hammock and play every minute that they can! They are around children, cats, dogs and a mini pig in their foster home so this girl is exposed to a lot!

Payton will be ready to go to her forever home on July 8, 2016.

**Payton is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV Negative, Dewormed and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at for more information. Her out of state adoption fee is $375 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Payton, a Gorham Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gorham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Gorham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gorham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gorham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gorham paves the way for another one to be saved.
