Aberdeen's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Aberdeen's Story...
Aberdeen came to us from a shelter in Greenville, SC. She was picked up as a stray. Aberdeen loves kids and does well with other medium/large dogs. She is not good with cats or very small dogs (under about 15 lbs). She is very well house and crate trained and has excellent house manners. She is about 7 years old and 60 lbs. She has natural ears and a natural tail. She rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. Aberdeen did test positive for heartworms, so we'll be starting her treatment soon. Email for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aberdeen, a Richmond Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
