Louise's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Louise's Story...
Our rescue has been working with livestock breeds for many years and need help finding a good home for Louise. Louise is a stunning purebred Great Pyrenees that came to us when their owner could no longer care for her. Louise has not been a working dog and is not good with livestock, cats, or other dogs. Louise can be adopted to a home that are familiar with the Pyrenees breed. Pyrenees do require homes with fenced in yard and knowledge of the breed. Contact us at www.augustadogadoptions.org for more information on this striking girl, or to apply to adopt.

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louise, a Staunton Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
