Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ollie
Breed: Catahoula Leopard Hound
Age: 2 years +/-; Male
Weight: 35 pounds
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Has Interest in them; Might be ok with additional work
Kids: 10 +
Crate Trained : Yes
House Trained : Yes
Location: Maine
Ollie is a handsome boy with expressive eyes. He wants nothing more than to be with you, his human. He's incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is very active and loves to spend time outside. Although Ollie is still working on his puppy manners he knows to sit politely during meal times and when getting ready to go out. He is house broken and crate trained.
He is interested in cats, but listens when redirected. Although Ollie could be successful anywhere, he seems like he would love being an only pet best. Ollie has some dog reactivity when he is on leash, so additional training may be necessary. This is a dog that really loves people and will make an excellent addition to any family. Even if you've only been out of his sight for a minute, his tail wags with happiness when he sees you again!
If you are interested in adopting Ollie please email sln2310@yahoo.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Ollie's adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, Spay/Neuter and microchip. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada
