Marina is a one and a half year old pittie rescued from the streets of Tijuana. She was once someone's dog; however, they hacked her ears off and used her for breeding. When they were done with her they dumped her on the streets. She lived there for months, fending off abusive humans and other animals. Finally a good samaritan reached out to us and asked us to help. Though Marina has a rough past you would never be able to tell. She is kid and dog friendly and very sweet and gentle. She would do best with other mellow dogs.

About Chews Life Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our organization is dedicated to giving all breeds of dogs the proper treatment and love they deserve. We save dogs off of the streets and from local animal shelters and put them into loving homes. All of our dogs are in foster care; we do not have boarding or kennel facilities. Feel free to browse our site and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are placed sporadically in foster homes in all of California (primarily Los Angeles). Potential adopters or fosters need to contact Sydney with Chews Life in order to set up a meeting with the dog the party is interested in.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application. Once the application has been approved by Chews Life board members, a house check will be performed by a board member or volunteer. The adoption fee for every dog is $200 unless otherwise stated.
