My name is Hawkeye!

German Shepherd Dog Dog for adoption in Fort Worth, Texas - Hawkeye

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Hawkeye's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Hawkeye's Story...
Hawkeye is a very handsome 6 year old German Shepherd boy looking for a home of his own. Hawkeye needs a home with a very tall wooden fence as he can climb any type of wire fencing, no matter the height. He LOVES his people and does not like being left alone. Due to his separation anxiety Hawkeye has been started on a "Prozac for dogs" and this seems to be helping. Hawkeye will require a strong airline crate to be kept in when his people are away and he also requires a thunder jacket for when the thunder storms come and scare him. All he wants in life is to be loved and pet and held if possible. He is such an amazingly affectionate dog, but he got an extra few doses of the GSD anxiety.

Adoption fee is $300.00; this includes spay/neuter, HW test, all vaccinations, microchip and microchip registration. His adoption fee will be $200 from now until September 5, 2016.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hawkeye, a Fort Worth German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
