Hope was rescued from a house where she was kept on chain with inadequate food and water. (Hope’s brother “Asher” was saved at the same time, and is also available for adoption through DFW Rescue Me.) With an estimated date of birth of March 07, 2016, she’s still just a baby!
Hope lost a lot of hair from untreated mange before her rescue, but after just a bit of medical care, it’s growing back quickly, and is non-contagious. She’s growing into a handsome, playful, and loving dog who enjoys both people and other dogs! Both Hope and her brother “Asher” have already learned some basic commands. They’re good listeners and quick learners! Check back to see updated pics as the new, healthy coats continue to grow!
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Both Hope and her brother Asher are participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
